Three notes, one room, and a nervous system that follows.
High-purity frosted quartz, tuned to G4, E4 and C4 at A=432 Hz. Struck softly the bowls give one clean tone; rimmed with the mallet they hold it. Meinl gives the set a two-year warranty. This is the most expensive thing on the site, and the only one we would call optional.
Price at Guitar Center, checked August 2026. Single bowls cost far less.
The best study we have found on singing-bowl meditation is observational: sixty-two people, no control group, measured before and after a single session. It found real drops in tension and low mood. It cannot tell us whether the bowls did it, or the hour of lying still.
Read: What a singing bowl actually does →Bowl on its ring, on the floor, at arm’s length. Sit so you can reach it without leaning.
One soft strike on the outer wall. Do nothing else until the tone has fully gone.
Then run the mallet slowly round the rim, steady pressure, until the tone stands on its own.

“I bought one bowl first, and only added the other two a year later. If you are unsure, start with one. The set is a want, not a need.”— Medina, founder of ETHOS

Everything Medina writes is free — the journal, the sources, the checks behind every product. It is not anonymous, though. Leave an email address and the whole thing opens.
No password to make. We send you a link. One email on Monday, and nothing else — you can leave in one click. What we keep.
Because an hour held for nobody is just a video. Knowing roughly who is out there is what makes the Monday session a room instead of a broadcast — and it is the only thing we ask for in return.
